DEAR DIARY ;
WHAT ?You mean the ICQ thing is still around?
Feeling excited, I wanted to tell friend A what I spotted.
Me : Guess what!
Friend A : You saw someone handsome in driving school
Me : 0.0 you think I observe the boys?
Friend A : Then?
Me : I saw someone writing - ICQ me @ ******* on their blog
Friend A : Wow. What's that?
Me : =.=
ICQ has never been my generation craze..that's because we had our social network platforms like
friendster,
Hi-5 ( that never seem to be a craze ) and
myspace. The former being more popular to socialize until we have Facebook.
Like the saying goes :
新廁所好大便. This is human tendency, we always either go with the flow
OR out of curiosity try new stuffs and get hooked! ~
But as I was reading a blog just now..this caught my eyes -
" Hi I'm XXX. ICQ me at ******* " OH MY GOODNESS. We still do that? I am so caught up with shock and disbelief because I thought our new craze should be
Facebook and our ICQ is history.
Seems like the previous generation still has some people who love ICQ even though I personally believe that there aren't that much people inside the web to chat. I guess that lower the risks of meeting bad people that parents constantly nag at you about. Haha!
I still prefer saying - "
Hi, I'm Deborah, Facebook me "
