DEAR DIARY ;
While I was working last month, some lady came into the office and told me -
" Hi, I am looking for a man".
There was at least 6-7 men in the office.
" Whats the name of the man? "
"David"
Excellent.There's 3 David in the office whose surnames I am obviously oblivious to.
But, must still act professional right?
"Oh, but we have 3 David(s) in the office, do you know what he's surname is?"
" I don't know, let me make a call"
3 office phones ring at the same time. 2 David(s) on the line.
Wow. So much for coincidences.
"Err, is there another person that you can approach?"
"Oh, have.. Tang Lin"
Phew. Sigh of relief.
There's only one Tang Lin in the office.
Now when I call someone that I don't know..I will ask "Excuse me, can I have your full name please"
-.- Some names are just too common now.
