DEAR DIARY ;
Last Sunday, as I was taking the pre-schooler class...I asked them to do up a new year resolution to be place in the class wall, so that we can work towards it together.
There was 6 students in class that day - Tim, Amber, Heidi, Luke, Shi Kai & Shi Hui.
Tim : I want to learn lion dance
Amber : I want to learn ballet
Heidi : I want a crab
Luke: I want to eat more fruits and vegetables
Shi Kai: I want to be a good girl
Shi Hui: I want to work harder.
I know..you all may go '
huh? what kind of new year resolutions are these?'
But it meant a lot to me that day, even though I don't know how I am going to help them achieve.
This are from the minds of these innocent and cute children. The main idea of them writing down their resolutions is to make it a habit for them each year, praying that they will learn to reflect as they grow up.
I know people make a long list of resolutions but this year I am going to make just one :

To fix my eyes on God and to abide in him.Because I believe if I am able to do this, everything else will fall into place.
As we send of 2008, why not take a time to quieten down and reflect on the good and bad of the year and really set aside practical resolutions to improve.
