DEAR DIARY ;

It's been a long while since I last doodle something seriously on a piece of paper since the last Art exam I took in secondary school days.

While preparing for the Sunday School lessons today, I've decided to do some interesting visual aids to draw the attention of the kids. I don't have the expertise on taking care of kids but I do have the brains to put in more effort in what I am going to infuse in them.

So here goes...

This is the waves after the rain comes... It's suppose to be this big so that it can cover the buildings as can be seen below..the 5th picture!

GUESS WHICH ARE MY PERSONAL FAVORITES?

This is my imitation of Noah. I think he suppose to look old with sexy thick lips and white beard! After drawing I think the lips looks a bit too young and well maintain for his age but oh well, I am to lazy to correct such a superficial mistake. (:

All hand drawn. (: Then I colored it myself before laminating it myself. (: I want to keep these for a very long time because I took a lot time to get it done.

Some of my personal favorites is Noah, the sheep as well as the giraffe. The giraffe reminds me of Jonnie because you see...

HAHAHAHAHAHHA!!

And I remembered the times I was laughed at for not knowing how to recognize a giraffe! I know now okay, giraffe got long necks! (: I want to go to the zoo again, I miss the dogs!

I think I can draw. Maybe next time I draw handsome guys for you all to see.

I got hidden talent in drawing right!!

Was watching Army Days in class today and got reminded that BARRY IS GOING IN TOMORROW .

Hey Barry ;

I believe other than what we always associate army with - Hell, there would be another side of it - Heaven. Although training may be horrendously tough and all, I believe still, at the end of it somehow..you'll have something you like about it.

Just like schools. It's hell but at the end, we'll miss all the times we have there. :(

And you'll be out during the weekends, so it shouldn't be very very bad. (: We'll be praying for you out here, and do note that you are constantly remembered. You are not in there alone, for God is with you always. (:

DEAR DIARY ;

You know that you haven't adapted fully to school when :

Your alarms rings 7 times and you snoozed it off.
You walk slowly towards the MRT station hoping that its a Saturday.
When you talk to your best friend, all that you discuss are movies, lunch and shopping.
You play pet society like crazy with all your classmates.
You can't wait for the clock to hit 4pm (end school time)
You begin to appreciate weekends more than ever.

But there's of course things that attract me to school each day like :

Yummy and cheap food from canteen.
Friends, that are crappy.
Life meeting with dearest crusaders.
Not lazing around at home being such a sloth.

After comparison, I concluded that I still don't like going to school but oh well, I don't get to do anything much about that either, other than going to school.

Please make school more interesting than ever, or make 11 days pass in a blink of eyes.

DEAR DIARY ;

After checking my entries over and over again, I realize.. I forgot to wish you all Merry Christmas leh!

Never mind right? Anyway Christmas shouldn't be so commercialize that people loses the main meaning behind. (: You all know that you are all in my heart can already!

Lets see what has been going on in 2008..

As usual I had my countdown with loved ones. But it was made special with a long distance call which apparently I ~~forgot~~ missed this year by 0.02 second because I forgot to answer. :(Last year, I mention that there was a lot of people in church.. This year even more!!! The kids stayed back so did my whole big family! (: And they even went up to share their thanksgiving. I am still very excited that my uncle accepted Christ. This is one big unexpected surprise! (:

Then I had 13 steamboat reunion dinners for CNY!

Then in Feb..

I created my Face book account.
Met up with my dearest 4E4 loves for Herfie's birthday and ended up returning home only in the wee morning. Obviously mommy isn't really very please.
Had Mission trip commissioning, got surprised by my parents.

Smelly Gabriel and Retarded Pang Cheng talk about the good old days at my place, and to be frank, I was enjoying the whole process of listening to them and laughing at their stupidity. HAHA! I guess, its such memories that really bring people together.

In March..

Went Taiwan for 20 days. Visited Taipei 101, Chinese Historical places and all the other famous places (science center, go kart, city park) plus 逢甲夜市 and some others in Taipei. And visited ZQD, went to his church and ate a lot of good food! (: Planning to go back this year. (:

Was in the same class as Yvonne!And got to know a bunch of very playful classmates! (:

For April..

Been on a whole emotional train ride. Thank God its over!
Went for the LEAPFROG thing that our school had to go into the Book of World records.
Met up 4E4 loves again for steamboat, where a lot of unwanted thing was accidentally dropped into the soup! And lots of inside joke created again.

Went Planet shaker concert ; Had welcome tea ; And Sentosa with Crusaders! (cos' we got wed off)
Have my very own portrait with wuzun!

Had a tough but enjoyable experience planning for Joon Kiat's birthday.
Car watching for Formula Drift event ( I just have this fetish for sports car) and went on a boat party.
Sleepover (:

In May..

Had Welcome Tea at Temasek Poly! Tons of fun mingling with the new group of juniors together with Jem.

Went Global Day of Prayer and got scare by Yu Ki's frogs :( Where got people keep frogs as pet one?!
Went New York New York to celebrate Jacq's birthday and had a cool photography time because of Jerome's DSLR!
PANG CHENG COMMENTED THAT I'M SECOND BEST BECAUSE HE'S THE BEST!

Lots and Lots of movie watching and birthday celebrations. Last check - 10 movies, 15 birthdays.

As for June

Soak in the Son camp! Got drenched by all the water bombs and smashed by chocolate cakes.
Planned to give Jem a surprise BUT he cannot make it. Had Oreo Cheesecake baked by John. (I'm waiting for my Oreo Cheesecake)

Towards the end of the month, there's still Wanjing's wedding, Cell group movie outing and Ah yi's birthday celebration all on one day. Damn tiring, but ah yi's birthday was awesome, had the whole restaurant to ourselves so - no disturbance! Plus 55 people turned up. (:

After that comes July,

Attended wedding of Grandpa's sister's brother in law's daughter's eldest son, very complicated. I don't even know how to greet the people there lor!
Had my own confirmation on 13-07-08 (:

Naked I follow up - Had the handicap lot in our midst and their vocals was wow wow wow. To the extent that the table I was sitting near stop chatting to listen!

Went SOP three times with - Fel & Co + Yvonne's church mates, Fel&Felix, Joon Kiat+ my parents (met my cousin and her relatives and Felicia + Felix )

As for august..

TRP guys won for the soccer tournament.
Went Jacq's house to gather before she leaves for the states (cross finger that she won't bring back a angmoh guy)
Went Mount Faber with the Sunday School kids.

Learn what it really means to let go. ((: and is blissfully married to friends. Haha!

For September

Went back for Teacher's day, and got embarrassed by Valerie Chan (my humanities teacher who love strawberry shortcake two.)
Received 3 Teacher's day gifts and wishes from Sunday School kid!
Had Polytechnic Forum and made a lot a lot a lot of new friends from all over , especially RP. I still remember how scary some of them look at first glance, but the actual fact is they are all very fun! (: Especially during the night when they are most active. HAHA!

Working together, makes the team feels even more united, really. It's a team effort that Poly Forum can be such a blast!

Times flies quickly and October came by..

My PP proposal is approved after working very hard.
My 18th birthday that was a smashing blast because of all my loves. Counted : 85 wishes, 32 presents, 15 cards, 5 lunches and 3 dinners. Love every single gift, very very thoughtful.

Not too long ago, November..

Obama won the election and created new history.
Treetop walk that nearly drain out all my energy due to the hyperactive, never tired children!

Went for my brother's Vocal Consort Concert. Not too bad!

The last month of the year is always happening - here comes Dec:

Celebrated and planned Yvonne's birthday at Happy pot.

Played Amazing Race in school and won first!

Went Mediacorp publishing with Van! This girl always seem to be able to read my mind, sometimes it gets very freaky leh! Like in Pet Society.
Acted for Christmas Skit- Who is your King!
Went for 2 Christmas Party, 1 family Gathering, 3 Kettling and 7 Gift exchanges.
31st Dec Traditional one big family dinner gathering plus thanksgiving (:

One thing that remains the same every month is .. the feeling of being blessed! And a lot of smiles, joy , laughter and funs with great companions and finger licking good food! (: Now, toast to a better year ahead.

AND HERE COMES 2009!!

Was having a conversation with him when I return home wee morning.

Him : HAPPY NEW YEAR..IT WILL BE A GOOD ONE!
Me : Why so sure?
Him : Because you have me....
Me : -.-

Now you all know why I sometimes reply in that manner, got influence already. Quick scold him!
