Before any other updates, let me talk about POLYTECHNIC FORUM 2008! :D


















I think I am really slow with updates because even Jem updated already. Must be his fault for calling me sloth that I really become a sloth! Haha! :D ( Blame Jem Ho the mean! )

Anyway, right.. Polytechnic Forum has been a blast, interesting and tiring. (: I've met a lot of interesting people there and really get to bond a lot with people with different personalities. I think we even learn how to find 1001 ways to get slack time!

When it was work time of doing up proposals and all..it is really tiring and stressful. However, when it was time to have fun, we really really did. (: & surprisingly 2A and 2C are rather close. We even played 'I never' together for the first night.

We even had bowling, T-shirt designing, Cheers and BBQ. (: And all the food were either Bento OR buffets. Actually , mostly buffets . (:

Subsequent nights were likewise, playing games, watching videos, chatting and my favorite wii. (: On the last night, it was rather boring, cos my room mate wants to sleep and the other was out. So I was with Jem and his friends and they were playing some card game that seems alien to even someone as smart as me. :p I think I was really tired at that time..but it still wasn't time to sleep yet because its already 5plus in the morning. I broke my own record of staying awake till late! ._.

Oh yes, I didn't miss my cartoons. I managed to catch GO GO POWER RANGER on time! :D

Hortpark event was the best. We get to have hands-on activity and play swings! :D Uncle eugene went with us too and we had fun taking some pictures. (: Then .. at 1pm, after lunch , we did what kindergartens do . Close and blinds , off the lights , lay down on the floor and ZZZ! while others are brainstorming. Haha! We are like the slackiest group on the surface but we are the most hardworking one beneath! really!

Got many treats from our lovely Gwen facilitator from bubble tea to coffee at Mc cafe and Mcdonalds for supper! Shiok! :D Had a good laugh out session with Yong Rong over Si ying. Haha! :D Till now it is still so funny and incredibly shocking ( strictly btw us ). Jem came to join us as well.

The forums / dialog talks were perked up too. and funny for those who know of the parliament joke! and the quite not thought of mini arguments that had us holding our breath.

Played the Taiwan game on Sean and Jonathan and I nearly succeeded. :/ Never mind, shall try again when there's a combined sub theme outing! :D Can't wait! :D We are all missing each another already! :D


To conclude: I'm going again next year! :D

Pre-Poly Forum was quite cool though tiring. (:

I am enjoying every bit of the getting to know new people and being involve in our group's proposal/project. Day one of it was a little awkward because we don't know each other that well. But we had a newcomer in our midst - Darryl. Anyway, as usual typical youths, there were an handful of latecomers, disrupting our time plan and all.

Went over to NYP for registration and group photographs before officially launching into the discussions. From a very tense atmosphere with lots of shyness, we became more open and vocal and tadah! discussions begins. As well it started , it ended. And I must really commend that we are very well felt. Like buffet breakfast, packet lunch and polar tea break! Feel so pampered there! Haha! :D


Second day !

Which is also today, was a super long day to be honest. Not long as in many hours .. but just "long". We went over to Seng kang CC to have a tour and a get to know PAYM more session which was rather okay. Had quite fun time with the RP group as well as we were laughing and giggling along with the drift of our own conversation.

Had to make lanterns with the old folks that were rather cool. Fortunately , it progressed very well indeed. We could more of less communicate with these elderly and encourage them as they help out in making the lanterns (which obviously was the objective). Being with so many ah ma(s) make me think of my nanny. :/ Haven't been visiting her for a while.

Anyway, yup. I love the helpful spirit that lingered along us in time of need (like desperately needing to know what to do). And we had buffet lunch before heading back NYP for discussion again! Hoho! :D Delicious!

& okay imagine this scenario:

Darryl walks into 2C classroom in ah beng style .
Gwen (one of the lecturer): Wah! Ah beng ah!
Me: He is from SP! (wanna protect RP's reputation)
Gwen: Oh, I thought only RP like that
Both of us smile. Haha!

The above was a plot that we thought of along the way. Like if we do anything bad .. say we are from SP or TP. But of cos' that won't happen to such adorable and nice kids like us. And we are not so evil.

2C (which is our group) ended super early today because we got nothing to do. We ended at 2pm! Awesome right?! Haha! 4 hours before time. We had tea break, buffet again! :D Chit chatted for a while and then back to our own world again.

I went shopping alone and enjoyed very much. I don't know what's with me..but I was in a very clothes mood today. I bought dresses, blouse and T shirt. Not forgetting the books I want and etc. Haha! :DD Now, I feel so so so happy. (: One more happier fact : It's 9am tomorrow!

"do you know deborah means Bee in Hebrew?" Apparently, my most retarded friend seem very amused that my name means BEE that he has to tell me twice in friendster and on MSN. It also means seeking one in the Christian context. Very cool right.

Thats what my parents pray for actually. That I would seek God first.

But I think BEE is very appropriate also, cos I am always as busy as a bee. Very busy indeed. Those close to me would understand what I mean . * inserts sad face *

He's actually looking for a name for himself. I think he should call himself Edison. Cos, he got a lot of scandals as well. Those with little girls. Haha! His scandals started from when he was young. So you can imagine the whole pile of it right.

If he's famous, I would be rich. Cos I would have everyone coming to ask for a little of the secrets. I think we do have secrets. Tho' he's quite open la!

I am in the midst of making decision , mention a little to this retarded friend. And he says " you are capable" ZZZ ! *smiles x 10000 * Coming from him, a little unbelievable! No la, sometimes, he can be very nice too. SOMETIMES.

Anyway, I am just very impressed about my name meaning. Tsk.
But I wanna mention my retarded friend too. So .. right!

This was how I "waste" away my holidays when I was sick. I was glued to youtube and crunchy roll to keep up with the drama download update. Hoho!

But I've finally completed watching it. Now, I am off for Hot shots (as mentioned earlier) and 無敵珊寶妹 (with guest appearance of cast from 命中注定我愛你.

I've been watching Ethan for a few years already in a couple of dramas, and its good to finally see him being the lead. In the past , he was always just a supporting actor. & the plot of the show and ending is surprisingly good and very breath-taking.

Although certain morals ain't right ( like sex before marriage! ) , I appreciate the addition of adding Christianity in as well. Like when Xin Yi ( Joe) realize her folly and went to repent to seek forgiveness. And when things aren't good and Dylan reminded her that all she needs to know is God loves her and etc. ((:

Lighted hearted show with lots of laughs and some tears. But happily ever after ending for all casts. Plus really nice sceneries and backgrounds.

Note : Maybe, when I am done with work the addiction would go.

3 Sep was a very special day. It was the birthday of my favorite cousin who always cam-whore, talk nonsense and go shopping with me! ((:

Though lots of things happened this year, I still wish to let you know that we love you all the same. It's not how we fall that matters, nor the mistakes we commit BUT rather, how we rise again and correct the fault. So keep going, you are doing very good!!

It's your 19th and my 18 year with you. I think we practically grew up together because I always stay in your house during primary and secondary school days. That's like 10 years! * with a sense of achievement *

Although there were times whereby we quarrel like mad over petty stuffs, but that when we were kids. I like the way we are now, occasionally teasing and yet confidantes when issues crops up. Thank you for everything my dearest cousin. And hope you enjoyed your special day! (:

We'll be the family that stick by each other.

He's just doing guest appearance and not the lead..but the show is relatively nice still due to the plot. Either that or I have a fetish for basket ballers which I think I do. Anyway, its starring Show ( Xiao Zhu) and Jerry from F4 as well! So do catch it.

& Oh yes, I changed the font again. I am a sucker for nice fonts. Sometimes, certain fonts just seems to shine at certain times, at others, it becomes dull. (: - according to my theory.

It's 1st September today, the official teacher's day. (:

I went back to my secondary school last Friday as well, to visit my teachers and to receive a shock. Haha! Another reason to go back to school, was to catch up with my beloved cliques.

Usually, the concert would be so awesome. But, this year was a huge disappointment. The graduated students says so. It was band after band and songs after songs. Super not well-planned and organize or in the juniors term, very GG! The few of us @ the gallery tho' were having quite a bit of fun listening to jokes from Zayd and Mr Xu. Haha!

& there was this particular band consisting of two lead female singers singing, but we couldn't hear a thing so the guys shouted "LOUDER!" so loudly that it shocked the rest of us. Zzz. But , oh well, the school should be tolerant to such occasional disturbance from us. We only go back on occasions anyway.

&&& Ms Chan practically announce that I was in school that day. Super paisey. Speaking of which, this year, we are allowed to vote for 'Most beautiful Teacher' and 'Most handsome Teacher'. Being cheeky, we all choose-d the most unpopular ones- Ms Mary Soh and Mr Goh ( our principal ) . Haha! Of course, some cheeky attempts for Mr Nahar cropped up again. But failed.

P/S : If you know me, you would know that Ms Chan is my most love-d teacher. Okay, she's Mrs Koh now. (: We love to compare our strawberry shortcake stuffs after school. Sometimes, I think I love Strawberry Shortcake more because of her.

As for the shock, its a secret. To conclude, it was a cool, get together. After the whole thing, I think being a teacher is so fulfilling!!!! -.-

Swoo and Giam didn't come, very sadden. Both owe me an explanation. And my most retard friend, claim that he seriously cannot see me even tho' he was 3 -4 people away from me only. Watch out ah! :0

Anyway, this year was a little different because.. I also receive Teacher's Day presents from my kids in class. (: So elated, not by the present la, but by the kids.
