DEAR DIARY ;

人的财富不在于金钱而是家人

2nd visit to the doctor.

I thought I was better, but I think everyone else think otherwise. Hence, the second visit. This time, dosage of medication change. Initially, I have to take my medicine every three hour. Now its every two hours. So , I'm drifting in and out sleep to chase time.

But no worries, I think I will be well by tomorrow. Cos of the shopping trip!

And somehow, this bout of discomfort was a rather good thing too. I get to rest and rest, basically just rest a lot & lose 2kg effortlessly. I see some heads shaking already. But oh well, its just poor appetite. It'll be better soon , I guess. (:

And a happy mentality would lead to fast recovery right?

But despite resting, I remember that this is a special day for someone special . :D

生日快乐!
Happy Birthday Barry! (:
You are older and umms, most hopefully wiser ?! Haha! But don't forget, age is not a destination. It's a journey!

Don't just count the candles on the cake , remember to count your blessings as well though you will never get to count it exact, because when you start counting more of it starts pouring in.

Thank You for being such a dear brother, though I am always bullied. Continue shining in God's kingdom and keep learning to be nice to me!

Hope your special day went by as special as you are.
Oh, and some words of wisdom for your birthday, "Smile while you still have teeth!"

You are VERY VERY loved my dear bro! :D

DEAR DIARY ;

It is not the number of times you fall that matters, but the process of getting up again that I bother.

It's been long since I had time to sit with myself to talk about the going ons. I've been too busy or rather too busy acting busy to think. I have been wondering too much that I wander off my own life. I've been too preoccupied by my own 'doesn't matter' to think that it still carries a weight somewhere.

Sometimes, it gets too much that I just want to throw in the towel. Yet , each time something happens to drop me a gentle reminder of the cross and even of the people around me.

Oh yes, talk about struggles. I have mine too.
But my heart is thankful, thankful for the push for me to want to really clear off those hindrances and walk in bigger steps towards God.

DEAR DIARY ;

MONEY NOT ENOUGH II

I watched this show with Jacq and a few other crusaders before she left. In fact, I am very excited to see a localized show in the film and movie market after so long.

I got rather disappointed by the plot even though there were it still retains the element of touching hearts, being funny and even practical to what Singaporeans are facing nowadays. What happens to a breakthrough? Like something more than what the market expects?

MNE2 reminded me of my own grandmother. I seldom talk about her, but it doesn't mean I no longer think of her. My grandma stays in my house because she's sick - kidney failure and diabetes. She often buys me dolls, cook me some of her famous 'teochew' dishes and talk to me in Hokkein. Seeing the old lady in the movie getting old and falling sick, just reminded me of my grandma's process.

But I'm thankful that no one in the family behaves like the characters in the show. Nobody made her sleep in the toilet, near the kitchen or complains of the mess that she made but still embrace her for who she is in their life and in the process teaching the younger ones what it means to be filial.

I guess the people who went to watch must have their fair share of scolding or even cursing at the way the characters behaved & crying at certain points because they feel for the scene. It must have come as a great reminder that no matter how time changes or how we modernize, it is still our duty to be filial to our parents even when they aged.

Practically showing how the generation now react to certain issues and gently bringing out the morals we should stick to and even showing what people are overly focus on that they neglect whats really the worth of what they are doing. The poorest people are actually the ones who doesn't have the love ones with them to share.

I would encourage Singaporeans to go watch to see who they are in each characters. To ponder about their focus and their drive. Let's just say,I hope to see Singaporeans with a big heart not only to charities but to their families because it all starts from home.

I'm sure this would leave with you , a lasting impact.
Don't just laugh it off, get the essence of the show

DEAR DIARY ;

HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!!!
Like finally, after the 16 weeks of school, really a killer. :( I am very very very excited about the holidays cos' I really want to take a water break after running and stretching myself for so long.

But then another part of me feel so upset. This so because my lovely E66H is going to split. Sometimes, I really wonder why RP wants to have such a system in place. Thankful for the bond that was formed. What's more, all those internal stuffs that are shared among ourselves. :(

& Evan , thank you for the short note on your blog. I'll miss all those nick names you gave.

Well.. I wanted to do some dedications. But I am pretty lazy, umms. so you just got to wait and anticipate. It would be up before the holidays. (:

& MY REASON TO NOT BLOG
I got addicted to my drama(s) again. But I am especially in love with this because of the Christian teachings that they improvised as well. ((:

+ I am feeling lazy.
But I am confirm , guarantee chop that I am not the sloth that friend so nicely mentioned. Haha! Anyway, TP's LM pictures up soon okay, like tomorrow. (: It was really interesting .

GOOD NIGHT HUMANS! (:

DEAR DIARY ;

MOUNT FABER YO!

Okay, this was where I spent half my day @ during National Day.
With my lovely kids and aunties and dearest cousins , not forgetting Mother nature. (: Enjoying the breeze, the small chats and the exercise. (: (and I am going there again on Monday!)

As quoted from Edwin : "Different companion, Different feel"

Woke up early in the morning 6o'clock to get ready and ensure and check and make sure that I have the first aid bag inside my bag and to ensure that the song sheets are done. Then cab (yes!) cos mommy and daddy went Malaysia so no one was there to fetch me, to aunt's house at Tampines to board the bus.

The bus actually stop at my aunt's house cos' most of the Sunday school kid are from her tuition center, so yup! Left only at 8am when we are suppose to reach @ 815am because some 大少爷 isn't ready. Haha! (:

& Happily on our journey with our friendly bus driver. Chug-a-longggggg!

Proceeded to assemble at Harbor front before walking and climbing and resting till we reach Kent ridge. But the view was so awesome that I think it doesn't really matter. Time to burn some calories anyway.

Oh yes, we are all RED because of national Day. But please remind me no more red(s) next year because apparently everyone there was in Red! So hard to distinguish who's who, really defeated the purpose of a color theme. Oh wells , lesson learn!
Here's our very.. umm, hardworking? photographer. Haha! He took so many pictures of us that I believe theres none of him @ all. (: So here goes. I love the camera. (: Oh yes, I am a cam-whore! Hees.

I don't really know whats he doing with the camera but it seems complicated too . Seriously.
While we are all taking a break, the kids wanna just find a spot and play their games and even so .. it attracted quite a crowd of our on-lookers. Haha! And they really bonded..so amazing! I think you can't see what they are playing.. its actually.. pick up sticks. (: Those olden days games la! (:

Here's Kakak and me. (: She loves the camera too. Keeping asking me to take pictures of her and hogging on to the camera. (: Maybe its because she seldom walk and enjoy view of mother nature. (: Hohoho! But it was fun playing with her and chatting with her and even taking pictures together. (((:
The bridge that so amuse me because of the Reds ! And I think it would be a beautiful spot to take pictures. Especially, when everyone is wearing the same color. (: I loveeeee. (:
Meanwhile , while waiting for the others, I just feel like I need to take a shot. (: I just love mother nature! & I just love the cool nice breeze of air without any cigarettes smell. Sorry, no offence, I just have something against Cigarettes with strong stinky smell okay!
With my cousin, Angelin! (: Kind of make her take this with me. Anyway, a little disappointing because this was the only picture I took with my cousins. :(
Ah, and I am so proud of below. Pictures that I took and find niceeeee like everytime I am looking at it. (: Hees. (: I think it look beautiful.

Fyi, these flowery picture wasn't edited @ all. (:

Jaslyn and me. Another dear kid from my church. (:
And aloha from HORTPARK ! I am just so in love with the place, the scenery was absolutely fabulous. Trust me, once is never enough. You just keep wanting to go back cos you are too in love with the place. (:
This is one of the playground in hort park. See, the boys are so in love with it as well. (: Loves aplenty!

Say hello to the yellow flowery pastures that I so love. I think this is one of the shots that I love the most because of the background and the sun rays. (: Make everything look so country style. (: My style.
Oh , and they hard the Wizard of Oz character. This happens to be the witch! (: And it really shock me cos I thought it was real. Phew! ._. Can you feel the sun rays from the picture? It was a really super extra hot day.
So hot that I need my H20. Got link ? AH!
Cos I need a drink so badly after climbing up so many steps , walking so long and speaking so loudly to direct those lagging behind despite the cough. :( It wasn't really a good feeling.. but it was a good time spend ultimately with mother nature. (: winks!

D says this looks like some innocent kid hiking and sweating after the whole thing but.. I don't know. It was taken halfway. Can already prove how tired I was. No kid! And I look so youngggg.

Err. okay, just digressing.

To end it off, me and the lovely photographer. I guess this is the only picture of him looking into the camera and looking good.(: Tho' he 'dao' me for most of the trip.

His fault. For ignoring the most adorable kid out there with him that day. Haha! (:
LS. I want my pictures!!!!

Goodnight people.
I am going to bed now and embrace my holidays.

IT'S THE HOLIDAY PERIOD!
C'MON , SING AND DANCE (:

DEAR DIARY ;

Today is a happy/sad day.
Happy because it marks the last day of school (school holidays are here!) , and that it feels good to be a student still. But sad because, the class is so gonna separate already. :( I know its not like farewell forever, but things would surely be different. :(

Anyway, let's not dwell anymore on this. Will talk more in the next post.(:

TODAY MARKS 'SPECIAL' FOR A SPECIAL SOMEONE!!

Let's just happily wish, my cutie pie Grace a very happy happy birthday. (: 又老了一岁了哦!Haha! (: This girl is 'amazing' . She can talk about how cute she is all day long without blinking, and I can laugh whenever I look straight into her face. (not that she's very comical) I suppose, its just something in her.

Praying that as you age gracefully, you would be less dangerous but more loving. (: Haha! And that you would be more enrich spiritually , falling more and more in love with the awesome daddy of ours . (:

Those time spent together talking and slacking was more than awesome, more and more to come soon! ANTICIPATING OKAY! But one thing for sure that you have to know, even if it's your big day ... is that.. I AM CUTER THAN YOU! Haha! ((: See you more during LM(s) and makan session yo! :D

Enjoy your big day & end it with a big blast.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Rock on ! (:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!

August 7, 2008
DEAR DIARY ;

I AM A HAPPY GIRL TODAY!
because.. I am finally done with my PP. Get it done and over with! Phew!

BUT.. I can't go out and hang out to celebrate because I am not well. Zzz. So much for being healthy. Haha! Oh wells (flicks hair).

Suddenly things are so done with that I feel so relief to wanna blog! Hees (: Anyway, yes, I've been up and about to a lot of events so let's talk about 姑婆's 71st birthday.

It was like on the last week of July but by being such a lazy bum, I just .. kind of procrastinate and kind of put it off, somehow. The turn out wasn't as good as I expected but oh wells .. at least the food was awesome! (:

★★★Stars! out of 5
(cos the food took too long to come. :( )

Got reminded of last year's vegetarian meal that cause us to produce a rather disgusted look and we said with much determination that we aren't going there again. Thank God, this year, we celebrated at [LONG BEACH]!! We used to go there for dinner often, but then .. with the curiosity juice in us, we went to try out jumbo , some other restaurants, lemon grass as well as the one that i mentioned earlier - vegetarian food restaurant near Mustafa!

But then again, ultimately, Long beach is the best. Rock socks!

We had like 3 tables of people this time round as compared but the thing that never change is.. my cousins love the camera! Haha! We had a fine time taking pictures, laughing and giggling tho' we just talked a lot in church earlier (fyi, we go to the same church as well).

OH and my cousin was so freaking gentleman that day that I got a shock and his sister was frigging jealous. He got food for me, loan me his jacket and talk to me super nicely. I like! (:

my gentleman cousin, me and his sister (:
Took this shot when they were saying grace. See, my mom's not paying attention . Haha!
Say hello , table 1 !!
& aloha, table 2! (:
last but not least, table 3 yo! :D
Okay, and this is our birthday girl :D
sounds a bit weird to call her girl now. Opps! :x
me and my favorite cousin ! :D

After all the food, it kind of got a little too dull and boring.. so the three of us (my bro, my cousin and me) went up to the second floor to look for some entertainment...

& tadah!!!!!!

we went arcade to challenge in a race round. But due to some circumstances, i wasn't in the game. Just the both of them. But I played rather well too, tho' its versus the computer.

I got 30th out of freaking 80! And my brother came in 1st , followed by my cousin- 2nd. (: Just couldn't have enough of the game , but had to go back down to join in the food at all cos' we sneaked up. :/ So yea, that was the only game we had despite changing so many arcade token.

playing happily. (:
They think they are on big screen,somehow.
with our auntie. (in blue jacket). :D
singing..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! (:
祝你生日快乐!!

Mommy and Auntie Polly were trying out some youngster stunt. Apparently, they couldn't make it so yea, parents please don't imitate your kids. Hahaha! It look super disgusting but I love the laughters and smiles were so natural so the photo kind of look good too. (:
The cake distribution process
I cut, mommy pass plate, uncle distribute. (:
See, I CAN CUT CAKE NICELY OKAY!
I seriously don't know where this came about. :/
But I think its super natural. (: Hees!

Before that I took a 30 minutes walk from ECP to Big splash to take pictures for the very irritating media writing project. But I'm rather proud of the work after the whole process.

Like well done after so much hard work. Okay.

Big thanks to andelin & bf for accompanying me. It was really tiring but oh well.. no more already. Yay! I'll show you the pictures soon if I feel like it but it was REALLY well taken. So anticipate la! :p

P.S : Hazel's birthday, Sunday school teaching, Hearts aflame, FOP, Amandaz, survey work, Venture Era and etc to be updated when time permits.

See.. I have so much stuffs. But I have so little time. :/ Be patient.
In the meanwhile... I wanna RECOVER. :'(
